Who are we?
My name is Ning, and I’m a Chinese-Korean immigrant who came to the United States alone at the age of 15 to pursue higher education. I eventually earned degrees in both Biochemistry and Computer Science, and went on to work as a software engineer at Google for seven years while building a presence as an online creator. On paper, it looked like I had everything—but behind the achievements was a much deeper story.
Growing up, I was fortunate to have access to a wide range of classes—Taekwondo, piano, painting, dance, and more. These hobbies filled my childhood with beauty and expression. But behind closed doors, I endured trauma and emotional hardship. As I got older, those early passions became more than just activities—they became my lifeline. In my most difficult moments, they gave me purpose, structure, and hope.
Despite all my success and talents, I often felt deeply alone. And I began to wonder: What happens to the kids who never get the chance to discover what they love?
How many potential Picassos are working behind desks, unaware of their gift?
How many Da Vincis are washing dishes, never having held a paintbrush?
How many stars never get to shine, simply because they were never given the opportunity?
Children are our future—not just in terms of technological advancement, but in humanity, creativity, and compassion. True progress isn’t found in machines or space exploration, but in building a world where love, connection, and personal growth are available to everyone.
I started this nonprofit because I believe that hobbies should be universal—not a privilege, but a right. Every child, regardless of background, deserves access to the same opportunities to learn, explore, and thrive. Whether it's tennis, horseback riding, fencing, music, or languages—these aren't just extracurriculars. They're tools for healing, discovery, and building a sense of belonging.
This organization was created to serve the children who are often overlooked—the ones who didn’t get a head start, who may be struggling silently at home or in their communities. We want to give them a place to grow, to connect, and to feel seen.
Through this work, I’ve come to understand that helping others is what truly fulfills me. Creating love—through community, creativity, and opportunity—is my life’s purpose. This nonprofit is my way of giving back and building the kind of world I believe in: one where every child has the chance to discover who they really are.
Are you grateful for the opportunities given to you when you were a child? Help me give back to those who need them.
